The mummy costume for xander has begun. So far so good. I hope to get most of it done by this weekend. Then i can concentrate on the mask, painting and all the littel things that make costume "pop." Also need to do some test make-up on Annamarie for her zombie cheerleader costume.
I am trying to consolidate my sites some to make things a LOT easier to update and see what is updated. If you notice issues please let me know.
The Horespark was fun again this year. We tried to beat ourselves and we succeeded. We placed 1st in the decorating contest and I placed 1st in the Costume contest. It was a fun time by all. Well two costumes are done. Xander as Jason and Kristi as marie antwionette. Kristi's costume is not perfect but it looks pretty good. She looks good in it and that is what really matters.
Well the cutting of the muslin to make a costume pattern has started.
Ok tis the time to get the costumes started and planned out for this year. I am taking the year off for my costume, I am going to see how cheap i can make a costume this year and still win. HA!
Well the name for our mascot has been chosen. Now to get the drawing of the mascot done.
Only ten (10) more months until Halloween. So much to do so little time. Luckily for me I started to reorganize the garage so now I have an eight foot bench that I can leave stuff up when I am working on it. I can't wait until everything is painted so i can start the building of items.
So it begins again. The planning stage has begun and I have some great plans for next year. With o9ne of the cars being stored over the winter at my parent's house I have room to work at night. (Once I get the garage cleaned up and organized.)
Well what can i say The KY Horse Park Haunted Campout is a great event. Thanks to everyone who put it together and decorated. It was really fun and I can't wait till next year. We have already started our planning for the event and hope to out do ourselves next year. We did what we wanted to to this year and got first place in the campsite decorating contest.
